Do you ever look around at people on the street and notice that just about everyone is on their phones, lost in their own worlds? And I admit to being one of them (at least some of the time). I admit sometimes I am one of them!
That’s why I was interested to read what one luxury apartment building is doing to encourage residents to put their phones down and be more social. For $700 a year, they offer an amenity package that’s filled with social activities like movie nights, mixology classes, and even “field trips” to go apple picking.
What do you think? Is this something you’d want to see implemented in your neighborhood?
If you’ve ever wanted to own a pool table but had nowhere to put it, check this out:
It’s called the Fusion Table and I can only imagine how popular my dinner parties would be if I owned one. The reason the 10,000 square-foot mansion is for sale is because the state is planning to build a more modern $5 million structure. They’d like to preserve the old one, but if no one puts in a reasonable offer by the end of September, they’re going to demolish it. Seems a little more complicated than your transaction, doesn’t it?
What do you think of the mansion? Worth saving or not?
